How to unlock Iphone free with Gevey Sim

Without wasting time i believe you already have a gevey chip available, and you know what Gevey is. If not, go and get one now at any apple accessory nearest to you, Or oder now at Gevey official website http://www.gevey.com.

 

What is Gevey?

GEVEY™ SIM is a hardware solution that unlocks your iPhone without software programming. It allows you to use your unlock your device if locked by a network carrier.

Although factory unlock is quite different from gevey unlocks but gevey to me is the quickest way to unlock your device. Provided your modem firmware and your ios is unlockable.

Note!  If you are having a basband 04.12 gevey chip may not work

To check you basband firmware from your device, click settings> general> about. Scrool down to view your firmware version.

If your firmware is 4.10,or lower , then you can use gevey unlocks.

Also if your device is running the latest ios 6.14 - 7 .then sorry to say,Gevey may not work for you. Presently gevey works for ios 6.1 and below.

Why people prefer gevey?

1. It is still one of the cheapest unlocks presently.

2. It is quick.

3. It does'nt depend on your previous network carrier.

Now back to the topic.

How to unlock with Gevey?

Step 1:  You may need a jailbroken device. To add this repository below to your cydia. Open cydia>manage>source>edit>add. Enter the url below and click add source.

Step 2: FIrst turn off your device, and place your gevey sim on the sim tray.

Step 3: now place your micro sim on it and slot it into the sim tray compartment

Then put on your iphone.

Step 4: Read the screen guide and follow the next step by clicking the accept tab on the screen.

Step 5: Dail 112 and hang up in 2sec. Then go to settings from your device menu and turn on airplane mode.

Step 6: wait till no sim installed message appears on your screen. Then turn off airplane mode, To accept the invalid sim message. Your  iphone will be unlocked instantly.

Trouble shooting gevey

Case 1. If you encounter a no service message on your network bar, when using gevey, go to airplane mode and turn on then turnoff airplane mode within 5 seconds. Now go to phone call and daill 112 then hang up after 2seconds. Now rush to airplane mode and turn it on again then wait for a no sim message to appear.

Note this problem may occur especially when you are on 3g and you have a limited network service if you unlocked with gevey.

Case 2. If you don't get the accept screen when you insert gevey, you may need to install furious mode by following the guide on step 1 above. It should work.

Case 3.  If gevey still didnt unlock your device after case 1 and 2 above, then its possible the Gevey sim is bad or your network carrier sim is bad. You can confirm that by trying it on other iphone. Also you shuld be sure your device ios and your modem firmware is compatible for gevey sim unlocks.
